Train to Helmond

Those preparing their travel to the Open Dutch in Helmond, it is possible to take the train from Eindhoven or from Schiphol to Helmond. The Dutch Railway website is: https://www.ns.nl/en/. When you enter the dates and the locations (pick train station “Helmond”) then you can provide a time and it will provide you a time table when you click “plan”. A one-way ticket from Schiphol to Helmond is € 21.10. An example of the fields you need to fill out can be found below.

For those traveling with larger groups, note that there’s also an option to buy a group ticket, this only works with a group of 4 or larger. But does provide a relatively low fair, note that these can’t be used during rush hours. The people in the group all need to travel together at the same time, and the ticket can only be bought online, with 4 people the ticket will cost 7.50 per person. More details can be found here: https://www.ns.nl/producten/en/losse-kaartjes/p/groepsticket-daluren

A nice extra for those who win at the Open-Dutch

Top-Ten just informed us that they will have vouchers for 10/20/30% discount at their booth at the Open-Dutch for Bronze/Silver/Gold winners. The voucher can also be used for online orders on budoland.de , but note that depending on where you are located there may be a shipping cost involved. We recommend those who want to use the voucher to try to use it at the tournament. That way you get the most out of it.

Thanks Top Ten for providing these!

Weigh-in / Height check?

As some people already asked, yes we will have the option again to do the weigh-in (or height on Saturday evening at the venue. Note that this will only be possible between 16:00 and 19:00. With ~600 participants we are expecting it to be super busy on Sunday morning, so anyone who is capable of doing the weigh-in or height check on Saturday evening, please stop by and avoid the rush on Sunday morning! (Sports venue Fitland Helmond, Scheepsboulevard 2 5705 KZ Helmond, Netherlands)
